ABSTRACT : Within the indisciplinary field of Applied Linguistics, in this research we analyze a comic from Chuck Billy named In the “ingrichi” class, with the purpose to discuss the way the comic builds possibilities for the construction of representation about the practice of teaching language, being a teacher, being a student and the possible consequences of this type of material for the readers. Dialogical studies of language according to Bakhtin’s perspective and his Circle’s is the theoretical apparatus that guided this research. The analysis is descriptive-interpretive and follows a qualitative research approach.
