Herramienta para la enseñanza – aprendizaje de lengua de señas mexicana para niños de edad preescolar

El presente artículo describe el desarrollo de una herramienta que forma parte de un proyecto para educar a niños de edad preescolar en la enseñanza y aprendizaje de la lengua de señas mexicana; la cual les ayudará a comunicarse, jugar y convivir con personas sordas o con dificultades auditivas. Para el desarrollo de la herramienta se apoyó en la metodología ágil Programación Extrema. Uno de los resultados iniciales del proyecto que se está desarrollando, es la herramienta denominada “Manos que hablan”, con ella se busca lograr un aprendizaje significativo de la lengua de señas mexicana en niños de edad preescolar y así poder tener una mejor integración dentro y fuera del aula con personas sordas o con dificultad auditiva. Esta herramienta es accesible mediante un dispositivo electrónico conectado a Internet, desde cualquier lugar y en cualquier momento. This article describes the development of a tool that is part of a project to educate preschool-age children in the teaching and learning of the Mexican sign language; which will help them communicate, play and live with people who are deaf or hard of hearing. For the development of the tool, it relied on the agile Extreme Programming methodology. One of the initial results of the project that is being developed, is the tool called “Hands that speak”, with it it seeks to achieve a significant learning of the Mexican sign language in preschool children and thus be able to have a better integration within and outside the classroom with people who are deaf or hard of hearing. This tool is accessible through an electronic device connected to the Internet, from anywhere and at any time.
