Therefore, software engineers’ emotions should be considered. Software engineer’s emotions influence processes such as problem understanding and teamwork, processes associated with their productivity. Therefore, it is necessary to pay particular importance to the emotional and job well-being of software engineers. This article presents a preliminary framework to determine the relationship between software engineer’s productivity, their emotions, and their possible causes.
