PRODUCTION AND TECHNOLOGICAL PROBLEMS OF SMALL LIVESTOCK FARMS

The program “Support for Small Farm Farms”, developed from 2013 to 2020, is ending. These are family cattle dairy farms reconstructed on the basis of the collective farms and state farms of the Soviet period. Grants have been allocated for the implementation of this program. The key to success of entrepreneurship is not only a breeding herd and the availability of their own feeds, but also the correct keeping of animals, which ensures increased productivity. The work substantiates a set of instruments for identifying and eliminating adverse conditions for keeping animals, which will allow the farm family to monitor on their own. The study demonstrates all research options and their possible results. By the example of studies on the chemical composition of the air and the microclimate for two periods of the year (autumn and winter), an analysis of materials was demonstrated that formed the basis for the correction of production and technological solutions at the studied object the farm of the livestock complex of Collectivizer farm in the Kaluga region of the Zhizdrinsky district.
