The base of the modulation rule is sliding mode control working stages and optimization criteria, which enable the optimum choice of inverter output voltages. This work presents the case of the output voltage modulator of a three-phase bridge inverter feeding an AC motor drive. The modulator is implemented with fuzzy controllers in the sliding mode.
