The division of the developmental stage of regional and national cross-border energy transactions will point out a developing direction. Therefore, this paper studies the division of developmental stages of the global energy Internet. This paper summarizes the evaluating indicators of the grid interconnection based on research data and analyzes key factors as characteristic indicators through the principal component analysis. Through clustering analysis, the global energy Internet is divided into six developmental stages, and the division model of developmental stages is established.
