Tangible and intangible heritage is considered a national fortune for nations, and a direct source of respect for peoples, as heritage contributes to preserving civilizations, and characteristics of local environments of society. Egypt contained many archaeological and heritage sites throughout the ages. Among them is the Antoniadis Garden in Alexandria, which is considered one of the oldest gardens in the world, as it dates back to the Hellenistic era, and passed through different historical periods until it was owned by a wealthy Greek in the nineteenth century, whose name was Antoniadis. Then Khedive Ismail took care of it and commissioned a French architecture to make it a miniature of Versailles gardens. Despite this, the garden has not yet gained a decent share of its fame, also it has not been registered on UNESCO World Heritage List. The park contains a number of heritage buildings and statues that have been exposed to many dangers throughout ages, whether due to changing climate factors, damage, or theft. Antoniadis garden is considered an integrated heritage site, as it combines a palace, columns, and statues distributed in the garden. In addition to the natural heritage of rare plants and trees.
