GPS technology has limitation in indoor navigation due to very low accuracy. This paper presents a comprehensive review on recent advances in indoor navigation technologies and aids for facilitating the visually challenged person movement. 摘要

对于视障人士来说,在陌生环境中进行室内导航一直是一项艰巨的任务。电子旅行辅助设备(ETA)内置了不同的功能,如障碍物探测和识别,无论目的地是楼梯、电梯还是其他房间,都可以帮助视障人士导航。GPS技术由于精度较低,在室内导航中存在一定的局限性。本文全面回顾了室内导航技术的最新进展,并为视障人士的运动提供了帮助。在研究的基础上,提出了今后在这方面的工作范围。
