Project Portfolio Management in Indian Auto component Industry: An exploratory Analysis

The industries today are showing a great concern for decision making in a competitive environment. Project portfolio management (PPM) is considered to be one of the aspect, where, a complete management i.e from strategy level to successful implementation of the strategy can be done in a very standardized manner. It's been a proven fact through theory and practice that organizations derive success through PPM and also help the organizations in short term and long-term benefits. Indian Auto component Industry, on one side riding on the success of supplying the quality parts to the OEM's but on the other side, struggling hard to cope up with the dynamic nature of the growing market of vehicles. This paper deals with the study of PPM in Indian Auto component Industry and is restricted to the exploratory factor analysis of the research which leads to derivation of the factors for further analysis.
