On the basis of STL, this paper intends to introduce a new topological structure, and will propose the vertex-based entity offset algorithm in order to realize the rapid generation of roughing/finishing tool path for molar prosthesis. Indicated by simulated machining, the proposed algorithm proves excellent stabilization, fast calculation speed and high machining accuracy.
