Those droplets can drop/land in the surroundings people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs. It has been confirmed that the droplets come out from an infected person coughs and sneeze. The possibility of spread can travel 6 feet (1.83 meter) based on the assumption that the no air circulation exists around people. A validated computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model is employed to investigate the transient transport and deposition of droplets emitted by infected people's sneezes and coughs with different atmosphere with distinguished wind velocities and RH. The computational simulation is able to perform the effect of wind speed and relative humidity on the social distancing to prevent Covid-19 airborne transmission. It is shown from the result that the droplet transmission leading to virus concentrations in the air is sufficient to transmit the infections to the people more than 6 feet away. © 2022 Begell House Inc..
