The main objective of the project that we have undertaken is to determine the major cracks produced by the environmental changes such as flooding, man made errors and thereby generating an alarm to alert the concerned authorities, in this way we will determine the cracks and finally protect the dams. By using the microcontrollers and sensors we determine the cracks present on the structures and other leakage that may occur. This is an embedded system which is able to closely monitor the parameters of the dam on regular basis and this model is fully automated and keeps the track of the dam parameters on a regular basis. Authorities are indicated for changes in actuator state there by giving an option for manual override.
