However, the numerical simulation research of the three important links of prediction, evaluation and optimization for the ship general performance is highly dependent on foreign commercial software. It is urgent to integrate multidisciplinary fusion methods and data knowledge engineering to implement independent research and development of numerical simulation systems. In order to remodel the research and development mode of ship general performance, the experience and lessons in the development of industrial software are summarized in this paper.
