To do this, family strategies are observed in terms of their asset portfolios and asset transfer capabilities to their children (Kaztman & Filgueira, 2001) according to the type of configuration and socio-educational and residential stratum. The integral protection of children refers to the defense of the interests of children, guaranteeing them the right to education, health, food, social protection and respect for their identity (among others). These rights are enshrined in the Convention of Children’s Rights (which Argentina ratified and adopted) and other instruments establishing international standards of observation from a rights perspective. In this context, it is important to explore and understand the factors associated with the different forms of satisfaction of the needs of child care, which encompasses, considering the different dimensions of law mentioned. In this context, the question is: How are children cared for and nursed in the framework of different structures of opportunities and characteristics of households? What have been the changes between 2010 and 2016 in terms of trends and gaps in social inequality? The proposed methodological design is quantitative and qualitative oriented to describe the processes of care, upbringing and socialization in households in dissimilar socio-educational and residential situations (very low social stratum in towns or urban settlements and high middle strata in formal urban spaces), and in different types of family configurations (single-parent and biparental), based on different categories and dimensions of analysis that are based on fundamental rights for children.
