And a prototype is developed. The variations pressure of the flyer presser on the roving package under different rotational speeds and continuously changing bobbin winding diameters are studied. Mechanical and control devices is designed to simulate this variation. And a flyer performance testing system is developed. The amount of the palm pressure and expansion are texted with flyers at the rotational speeds of 600r/min, 800r/min and 1000r/min and the spool diameter changed from 45mm to 130mm. Experiment results indicate that the system meets the design requirements. The equipments work properly with easy operation and high degree of automation and measurement accuracy.
