Fault detection is a major problem that arises when an excess amount of current flows in the circuit leading to the necessity of having circuit breakers. Circuit breakers are made of light materials, which creates a problem for dealing with high voltage DC applications with the protection of circuit breakers have become popularized, and different papers have outlined various studies on the effectiveness of Solid State Circuit Breakers (SSCBs) protection for a direct current microgrid.
