摘要

本定性研究以图式理论为基础,探讨了英语学习者所面临的阅读障碍、产生这些障碍的原因以及在阅读中使用的阅读策略。主要有三个主题:1)英语学习者遇到的阅读障碍:接受视觉信息的阅读障碍、缺乏非视觉信息的阅读障碍、读者主观目的和态度的阅读障碍;B)造成阅读障碍的三个原因:缺乏一定的图式、不能激活先前的图式、对阅读策略的了解有限;c)英语学习者使用阅读策略的情况。在此基础上,本文最后提出了对英语学习者和英语教师的教学启示。
