Compared to the method of moments (MoM), the merits of Nyström method include the simple mechanism of implementation, removal of basis and testing functions, allowance of using nonconforming meshes, and ease of enhancing numerical accuracy. Although the Nyström method has been widely used to solve various EM problems, it seldom dealt with the problems with highly sharp structures. In this work, the EM scattering by sharp-corner objects is considered and the method is applied to solve it.
