Among lncRNAs, the circular RNAs (circRNAs) gain growing scientific attention due to their stability in body fluids. This makes them suitable for new non-biomarkers for evaluation of SLE activity and promising therapeutic targets. Methods for detecting of circRNAs are evolving rapidly.
