The main purpose was to gain a better understanding of outcomes concerning service-learning participation of vocational training institute students in Pakistan.\n\n\nMethodology - A total of 315 respondents participated in the study. Data were collected from 15 randomly selected vocational training institutes using a self-designed questionnaire which was drafted and validated after expert approval. The construct validation of the questionnaire was established through Exploratory Factor Analysis.\n\n\nFindings - The findings indicated that participation in service-learning resulted in increased course content knowledge, the development of interpersonal skills, and the development of a volunteering attitude among the vocational institute students.\n\n\nSignificance - This study is one of the few studies related to academic outcomes of vocational education students as a result of service-learning participation. 摘要

目的:本研究探讨教师对职业培训机构服务学习参与结果的看法。主要目的是更好地了解巴基斯坦职业培训机构学生参与服务学习的结果。方法-共有315名受访者参与了这项研究。采用自行设计的问卷,随机抽取15所职业培训机构进行数据收集,问卷经专家审核后编制并验证。通过探索性因子分析对问卷进行结构验证。研究结果-研究结果显示,参与服务学习可增加职校学生的课程内容知识、发展人际交往能力及发展志愿服务态度。意义——本研究是为数不多的与职业教育学生参与服务学习的学业成果相关的研究之一。研究结果有助于理解服务学习作为一种实用的教学方法的教学作用,对于在当前就业市场上寻找熟练人力的雇主来说,这是特别有意义的。
