The direction of arrival (DOA) estimation is closely related with massive MIMO system. Hence, a precise and low computational method to estimate DOA of the signals is necessary. In this paper, we extended the signal model in a 2D problem with a plane antenna array and proposed an improvements of Propagator method (PM). Based on root MUSIC method, the angle parameter can be estimated by another angle parameter. It does not need to reconstruct the system model and achieve automatic pairing.
