Due to it is importance, geomechanical tests are conducted in a Rock Mechanics internal laboratory of AngloGold Ashanti's operations in Crixás - Goiás - Brazil, where strength values from different rocks are obtained, forming a significant database. This study aims to determinate representative strength values, from each lithology from Ingá Mine, considering the disruptions that occur in the intact rock and in discontinuities, in addition to understanding the variables that can influence coefficient of variation, mean, boxplot and median, in order to eliminate outliers and define trends.
