The system is based on laser active triangulation principle. A laser projector emits a laser stripe on human face and two cameras detect it. A transformation matrix is related to the transformation between the laser image in the camera and the related absolute position in space. We use two cameras to solve the missing parts problem and register the gray scale image with range data to reconstruct 3D image with high quality. Theoretical analysis and practical system are described. Experimental results show that this system can reconstruct 3D face image with high measuring speed and accuracy. 摘要
