PENERAPAN MASSAGE EFFLUERAGE TERHADAP PENURUNAN TEKANAN DARAH RATA-RATA PADA PASIEN HIPERTENSI
Hypertension is a degenerative disease that affects almost 25% of the world's population. Hypertensionis characterized by pressure > 140 mmHg/90 mmHg. Massage effelurage has the benefit of improving blood circulation by helping to circulate blood in the veins (venous blood) so that it quickly returns to the heart. The aim the study was to identify blood pressure before and after being given effluerage massage. Descriptive research method with research subjects totaled 2 people with a medical diagnosis of hypertension, systolic pressure 140-159 mmHg and diastolic pressure 90-99 mmHg. Data collection instruments used blood pressure observation sheets, sphygmanometer, olive oil and SOP massage efflurage. The research was conducted in the Village area of Pekon Mekar Sari, Kec. God's Fence Kab. West Lampung within 3 days, from 24-26 June 2020. Blood pressure measurements were carried out before and after the effleurage massage. The execution time of the effleurage massage every day is 30 minutes. The results of the study before the application of Tn.S with an average systolic 143.3 and diastolic 93.3 while Mrs.N 140/90 mmHg with an average systolic 136.6 mmHg and diastolic 93.3 mmHg. After being given therapy for three days, the results on the average systolic 136.6 and diastolic 88.3 while Mrs. N with an average of 130 mmHg and diastole 83.3 mmHg. The conclusion from the research of massage efflurage can be applied in lowering blood pressure in hypertension and can be used as one of the complementary nursing interventions in lowering blood pressure
