A Comparative Analytical Survey on RIP, EIGRP and OSPF
Routing protocols are a crucial requirement in today’s network connection since these protocols provide direction and commitment towards channeling data between users. These routing protocols can either be static or dynamic in nature. Several researches have portrayed that dynamic routing is advantageous compared to static routing, namely in terms of scalability and adaptability. A dynamically routed network has the advantage to expand more easily while adjusting to the topology changes caused either by expansion or by the failure of one or more network elements. In this paper, we have analyzed three dynamic routing protocols namely Routing Information Protocol, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol, and Open Shortest Path First.
