On building non-intrusive performance instrumentation blocks for CORBA-based distributed systems
A non-intrusive, reusable framework for collecting performance statistics of CORBA-based distributed systems is proposed. The usefulness of the framework in the context of comparing performance improvement techniques is described. Also discussed is application of this framework to a large telecommunications application and experimental results on its relative overhead.
