Eosinophilia was remarkable in the early stage. ANA, DNA anti-body and ENA antibodies were all negative. Neurological examination revealed a mild peripheral neuropathy. No sclerodactylia and no Raynaud's phenomenon in our cases are characteristic findings in EMS.
