A PR control technique is designed for the proper integration of the photovoltaic sources with the AC grid. Firstly, a description of the investigated topology (packed U cell five-level (PUC5)) is presented in the paper, and then the PR control technique is discussed. A 3rd order LCL filter is used for the integration of solar PV to the grid purpose. MATLAB®/Simulink is used for developing the model, and the results obtained are presented and discussed in the paper.
