The new method is based on intensity curve of images. It can detect the presence of vehicles via different intensity curve characters between moving objects and background. Our approach is a real-time detection algorithm. It outperforms the existing traditional algorithms, such as mixture Gaussian background Model and Bayes background Model. Traffic Flow Detection Algorithm Based on Intensity Curve of High-Resolution Image
