Application of Surfactants in Contaminated Soil Remediation

: Since the reform and opening up, China’s economy has been developing rapidly. But at the same time, it has also brought an increasingly heavy burden to the ecological environment, as the various types of polluting wastes generated by the rough development cannot be effectively treated, and some of them are incorporated into the soil in a direct or indirect way, which aggra-vates soil pollution. Therefore, in order to achieve the strategic goal of sustainable development, remediation of contaminated soil is imperative. Among them, surfactants have received a lot of attention from scholars as a substance that can effectively remediate contaminated soil. This paper focuses on the concept of surfactant, its mechanism of action and how to realize soil remediation work, in order to provide reference and help for the development of soil remediation work in China.
