Smart Fingerprint Authentication and Alert System Using IoT
Person’s fingerprints will never match those of another person, fingerprint recognition is among the most secured types of identification systems. Therefore, it is possible to prevent unwanted access by building a system that can store the fingerprints of one or more authorized users and only allow access to the device whenever a match is detected between the stored fingerprints as well as the user’s own fingerprints. Door lock mechanisms that rely on passwords can be readily broken into if the credentials are divulged to another person or stolen; as a result, users who have shared access need a biometric-based security system. We have set up a centralized control system through which we are able to determine who is permitted to enter particular rooms and who is not permitted to do so. This is a device based on Arduino UNO that has flexible working capabilities and offers physical security through the use of fingerprint sensing technologies.
