Pulsed corona (PC) offers a real promise for degradation of pollutants in gas and water streams. Understanding of discharge physic is necessary for developing corona applications. This paper presents a study of pulse repetition frequency (PRF) effect on PC parameters: current, impedance and radiation. The study was carried out in a wire-to-wire geometry. A corona device with a central high-voltage electrode and two symmetrical grounded electrodes was used for model experiments. A nanosecond solid state power supply SM- 2N (100 kV, 5 ns, up to 300 Hz) was used for driving PC. We carried out also spectrum measurements by a SPEX monochromator. We registered the N2 second positive system and N2 + first negative system as a function of the discharge voltage and PRF.
