EMC design and analysis of six port dual polariser
A four port slot coupled dual polariser will act as a six port dual polariser electrically because of the number of modes that it supports at the operating frequency. The six port analysis is based on the method of moments. A set of coupled integro differential equations are obtained from the boundary condition of a tangential magnetic field at the slot-aperture interface. The scattering parameters are evaluated from the dominant field scattered into various electrical ports. Mutual coupling in the aperture, is properly accounted for. The finite waveguide wall thickness is considered as a stub waveguide and appropriate cavity Green's function is employed in the analysis.
