A suitable framework is designed and implemented for transactions in a single sided bidding electricity market. In addition, a simple-bid bidding protocol is used to develop a novel Linear Bidding Algorithm (LBA) for sellers to decide the ask quotes in single sided bidding electricity market. The proposed market platform is developed using M-function in MATLAB/SIMULINK and is applied to a case study with existing Malnad Collage of Engineering (MCE) grid-tied Microgrid (MG).
