Migration is a universal concept that has existed and will exist throughout human history. For this reason, it is a social phenomenon that should always be investigated and explained. In order to understand the phenomenon of migration, first of all, it is necessary to know the reasons for the emergence of this phenomenon. The reflections of the factors that cause migration on space and people also constitute the continuation of this process. The movement of displacement has caused the emergence of different species according to the historical conditions of people and the dynamic structure of the phenomenon of migration has changed day by day. Globalization has brought with it a world that we can describe as a global village. The development of communication and transportation technologies has increased the spatial spread of the migration phenomenon. Thus, the possible effects that may occur in the international migration movement have been felt not only in the receiving country but also in the surrounding countries. As migration spread to an international level, it became a phenomenon that concerns the whole world, and the emerging economic and socio-cultural reflections continued to make their presence felt in all areas of life. After the civil war in Syria since 2011, Turkey has faced a large migration flow. The reflections that emerged due to this migration have begun to be felt more and more as the years pass. The aim of this article is; The aim of the present study is to reveal the economic and socio-cultural reflections of Syrian migration in our country. It is primarily aimed to determine how these reflections affect the perception of the local people. In this context, the economic and socio-cultural difficulties experienced by the Syrian refugees after the migration process were also included, and the factors that prevented the mutual adaptation process with the local people were determined.
