Roundness error evaluation includes least square method, minimum circumscribed circle method, maximum circumscribed circle method and minimum area method. The realization of measurement data processing by various methods is complex and has different accuracy. In this paper, various roundness error evaluation methods are analyzed. The GUI software of graphical user interface is established and its evaluation process is realized by using the software of Matlab. The data processing program of MATLAB has the advantages of simple and reliable program, short processing time and greatly improved calculation accuracy.
