This article specifically focused on the effect of IELTS Speaking course which aimed to improve English spoken and communicative competence. Research methods including both quantitative questionnaire survey and qualitative interview were applied to 98 subjects who registered in this course. The results showed that students’ learning motivation and interest were fully triggered, and their spoken ability was more or less improved and learning needs were satisfied in general after this short-time experiment. 摘要

为加强国际交流与合作,培养具有跨文化、国际化护理意识的学生,提高涉外护理能力,加强英语语言学习,在中国某护理职业学院高级护理专业开设了雅思课程。这篇文章特别关注了雅思口语课程的效果,它旨在提高英语口语和交际能力。采用定量问卷调查和定性访谈相结合的研究方法,对注册本课程的98名被试进行了研究。结果表明,经过短时间的实验,学生的学习动机和兴趣得到了充分的激发,口语能力得到了或多或少的提高,学习需求总体上得到了满足。因此,这门课程应该长期进行,以更好地为学生提供国际“双资质”认证,即英语能力和专业知识。
