The absorber is designed on a low-cost FR4 substrate of thickness 3.2 mm. Full width at half maximum absorption bandwidth (FWHB) of the absorber is 48.78 % (6.71-11.04 GHz) with wide incident angle (-600 < θ < 600). More than 80 % of both of TE and TM polarized incident waves is absorbed for a wide incident angle. The bistatic and monostatic radar cross section (RCS) are reduced by 14 dBsm as compared to those of a perfect electric conductor (PEC) plate at 9.5 GHz.
