However, there is a lack of research on the impact of digital technology on the power industry from the full life cycle perspective. In this paper, it is pointed that the effect is mainly reflected in intelligent power production, power equipment fault diagnosis and prognosis, stability operation of the power grid, intelligent electricity trading and marketing, and the power industry standard digital transformation. In this paper, the application scenarios of the digital technology in the power industry are detailed analyzed and the relevant supporting technologies are introduced. Some examples are shown to support the point of view.
