The electronic systems could be interfered or even damaged by the electromagnetic (EM) environments, which might cause a severe disaster or threat to the civil lives. The EM risk is difficult to find since the EM weaknesses would be hidden in the system design and no evident symptom can be observed in the normal. The concept of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is compared in parallel with the risk assessment to build the EM risk model and answer such the questions what is and how to do the EM risk assessment.
