Optical grid testbed is built to verify node structure and five character of optical grid on ASON network, which involve application-driven, grid service and optical resource uniting, parallel lightpath scheduling, wide resource sharing and multi-granularity bandwidth service. An optical grid node function framework and physical implement scheme is proposed based on distributed network architecture orienting on-demand resource service.
