Good communication skills improve the doctor – patient relationship and decrease the dissatisfaction by the patient and relatives. It offers numerous benefits to the patient. Communication skills is an interactive process, patient will also need knowledge to take part in decision making and can raised question about the quality of life. Doctors have a moral and social responsibility towards the community as well as medical responsibility and must preserve their patients’ trust.
