A cross-layer multi-physics design flow for electronic-photonic integrated circuits
We present a cross-layer design flow for EPIC which integrates the optical device simulation, electromagnetic simulation and electronic and photonic circuit simulations. An example of creating a traveling-wave MZM using this design flow is demonstrated.
