This work illustrates the effect of novel T shaped structure which is connected in the ground, of the compact MIMO antenna with very low mutual coupling for the future 5G millimeter wave applications. A reference monopole antenna is introduced and from that a MIMO antenna was designed which is of very compact size. A very low mutual coupling is achieved with introduction of the T shaped structure in the ground plane. This antenna work for the frequency band of 20-28.1 GHz and all other frequencies are rejected other than this band, the proposed MIMO antenna works for 5G milli meter wave applications. Ground plane is taken as the partial ground plane which further improves the operating bandwidth of the proposed MIMO antenna. 摘要
