The research uses computers and other scientific instruments, such as analyzing experimental data and comparing them with each other. The aim is to enable people to use high-quality laser guides in the future without any problems or defects. This paper compares the guideway straightness detection algorithm with the GPS measurement results through exper-iments. The results show that in the comparison of the average value of positive and negative direction data, the average value of the algorithm before and after reaches 9.04 “and 8.96” respec-tively, which is only -2.16% and -1.75% error compared with the GPS measurement results. It is almost close to the actual GPS measurement data.
