Designing a village government website as a media for disseminating information for web-based communities

The difficulty of accessing existing information makes researchers interested in developing a website-based village information system with the aim of improving services to rural communities, access to information can be obtained easily, promotion of village community business results, village potential, population.  The purpose of this research is to realize a website that is able to disseminate information related to Sadar Sriwijaya Village to the people of Sadar Sriwijaya Village and the general public. The method used is a qualitative technique with the support of black box testing which is used in testing the features contained in the designed application and webqual 4.0 to test the quality of information on the website. The conclusion in this study is the quality of information related to villages that have been tested through the webqual 4.0 method to get test results with a value of 90.58% in the very good category and the results of black box testing with 6 features tested successfully.
