Four algorithms namely, Random Forest, Decision Stump, Naive Bayes, Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD) combined with different feature selection techniques (Correlation Ranking Filter and Gain Ratio Feature Evaluator) are applied to implement the NIDS models using the NSL-KDD dataset which is the new version of KDD-Cup99. 摘要

随着大量联网设备在互联网上的部署,由于新的恶意攻击正在迅速增加,保护组织和个人计算机网络变得至关重要。网络入侵检测系统(NIDS)是最知名和最受好评的网络安全工具之一。维护安全性、数据机密性和数据完整性是NIDS的主要目标。通过这种方式,本文研究了机器学习算法在NIDS中的应用和性能。利用新版KDD-Cup99的NSL-KDD数据集,采用随机森林、决策树桩、朴素贝叶斯、随机梯度下降(SGD)四种算法,结合不同的特征选择技术(相关排序滤波器和增益比特征评估器)实现了NIDS模型。根据这些算法的性能进行对比分析,随机森林算法在预测精度和检测误差方面都优于其他算法。
