In particular, when the vehicle is in an environment with poor network connection, the consequence of fetching the high-definition maps for vehicles can seriously affect the driving safety due to the packet drops and delay. In this paper, a vehicular edge caching architecture based on dew computing is proposed to ensure the driving safety of the vehicle.
