The sample of the research, which was carried out using the survey model, consists of 92 middle school, 100 high school and 107 university students in total, 299 students. Research data was obtained using the Social Media Attitude scale and personal information questionnaire. As a result of the study, it was determined that there was no significant difference in terms of students' gender and their possession of mobile phones. However, it has been determined that students differ significantly depending on their educational status, knowledge and skill levels of using social media and the time spent in social media. It is determined that there is a significant difference in favor of male students in the sub-dimension of social competence, in favor of secondary school students in case of education, in the level of knowledge and skills to use social media and in favor of students who spend much time in social media. It was determined that there was a significant difference in favor of secondary school students, advanced level of knowledge and skills for social media use and in favor of students who spend a lot of time in social media, in terms of sharing needs and relationship with teachers.
