All-Silicon Low Noise Photonic Frontend For LIDAR Applications
We report an all-silicon co-design based integrated low noise and wideband photoreceiver frontend system for noise-sensitive receivers. We also demonstrate a defect mediated silicon APD with 8 GHz small-signal bandwidth and a high-gain CMOS transimpedance amplifier with an input SNR of 15 dB.
